The GEMliving software will enable you to manage the administration of meals allowable to residents within the terms of their monthly fee and capture those charges outside of this agreement for bill back on the monthly statement. The Point-of-Sale tender process is simple and automatic:
- Resident meal authorizations
- Resident charges and debits
- Employee payroll deductions
- Department charges, gift cards and visitor declining balance cards
- Guests can pay via cash, credit card, charge directly to the resident’s account or they can be set up with their own house account
This system will bring enhanced management to your POS operation by eliminating manual processes and provide you with a wealth of information for what food items to replenish in your inventory.
This unique module provides facility personnel with the ability to register, schedule and track all non-retail transactions for residents from:
- Maintenance services
- Scheduled activities
- Turndown service
- Housekeeping service
- Walking the dog
- Medication reminders
Upon completion of the activity, time and materials are calculated and charges are immediately posted to the resident’s account or billed back to a specific department.
This service provides a graphical dashboard that monitors all resident activities associated with meal service. Additional options include call center order management and kitchen production management. Portable tablet PCs can also be added to take orders in non-traditional areas and accept payment anywhere on the campus.
