History

In the early 1980s, the software of Common CENTS^® Solutions was conceived by foodservice professionals to enhance profitability and more accurately monitor and manage their own cafeteria operations.

The first version of our software was installed in the company's food service units in 1984. With the promise of Common CENTS^® Solutions proven, a decision was made to market the software to outside clients who could also benefit from improved performance and profitability. The first outside installation occurred in 1991. Since that time, Common CENTS^® Solutions has continued to enjoy positive results through satisfied customers and steady growth.

In 1998, Common CENTS^® Solutions ventured from its foodservice company roots to incorporate into a separate company. At that time, the company was also certified as the MICROS Authorized Dealer for the state of Mississippi. 

With continued software development and a strong commitment to service, Common CENTS^® Solutions has expanded to nearly 500 clients throughout the country and frequently has been awarded the distinction as one of our state's forty fastest growing companies.

In 2009, Common CENTS^® Solutions was acquired by Constellation Software, Inc., an international provider of market-leading software and services to a number of industries across both the public and private sectors.  With the strength of this organiation behind us, you can expect Common CENTS Solutions to be even more visable and viable in the future.
